Kids Ministry
We believe no child is too young to know God personally, experience His love in Jesus, and interact with the Holy Spirit.
We create a safe space for your children to have fun encountering God through worship music, interactive lessons on their level, and groups, as they grow more in love with God and His people.
We are excited to partner with families by equipping, encouraging and supporting you in the adventure of nurturing the faith of your children and raising a generation of kids who passionately follow Jesus.

Sophia Lopez
KIDS MINISTRY ASSISTANT
From infants through 5th grade, we offer age-appropriate activities and environments where kids experience God’s love and learn more about Him. Our rooms are staffed well with a trained, background checked team of people who want to share the heart of Jesus with the kids in their care.
Sundays
Every Sunday at 9am and 11am, we offer ministry for kids from infants to 5th grade with age-appropriate environments, activities and lessons.
Wednesdays
Every Wednesday at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall, we host Kids Church for Pre-school to 5th grade. Our kids will worship together in the Fellowship Hall and then our kids K-5th grade will hear a lesson before breaking out into classrooms for activities. The nursery is also open on Wednesday nights for babies and toddlers.
Monthly
GIRLS & GUYS GROUPS
On the 1st Sunday of the month from 12:30-2:30pm in Room 10, our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls and guys groups will each meet for some hang time, a meal together and some time in worship and studying God's Word.
3RD FRIDAYS
On the 3rd Friday of the month from 7-9pm, we offer kids ministry from the nursery to 5th grade.
Age Groups
Children will be welcomed into a safe and loving environment full of fun and worship. We have safe and age-appropriate toys and activities, and our goal is for you to feel confident dropping off your child so you can be fully present during our gatherings.
For Pre-K kids, we provide an intentional time of teaching, worship, and fun and activities. We teach kids foundational truths on their level as they learn what it means to not only follow Jesus, but be loved by Him too!
Each week, our K-5th graders spend time in worship, amazing teaching and tons of fun activities and games! Kids will have a great time learning they are loved, seen and known by a God who wants to encounter them daily!
Your First Visit
CHECK-IN
When you arrive at the Families entrance, walk over to the Kids Check-In area near our south entrance. Here you will be greeted and assisted as you register your children for the first time. We will then help you find the right classroom for your every child you check in.
Check-in begins 30 minutes before service, with classrooms opening 15 minutes prior to the service.
SAFETY INFORMATION
During check-in, children and parents/guardians receive matching printed nametags and pick-up tags to ensure your child’s safety. The child’s nametag identifies their classroom and a security code that matches the pick-up tag. Parent/Guardian picking up a child must provide the matching pick-up tag in order for the child to be released.
All volunteers on the Kids ministry team receive a background check and do not serve alone.
FAQs
Common questions about what to expect
-
On a case-by-case basis. Parents are allowed to see what we teach in the classroom or check out the nursery before leaving children with us. We have an experienced team and many leaders who are capable of making sure each child is well cared for.
-
If you’re checking children into the nursery or our special needs classroom, we’ll give you a pager to take with you after you check in.
-
Regardless of the role they play, every adult who serves in our Kids ministry has passed a background check. We do not allow any adult to be alone with a child.
-
If your child is still in diapers, we recommend bringing a diaper bag and bottle/cup. You’re welcome to leave anything your child might need during this time. Elementary kids are encouraged to bring a Bible and journal. We provide a nut-free, allergy-sensitive snack in each class.
-
Our desire is to provide every person with an opportunity to learn about God’s love in a way that best meets their needs. At check in, please let a Kids ministry staff or volunteer leader know what accommodations you need and we will always do our best to meet those needs on a case-by-case basis. Children with special needs are accommodated in mainstream classrooms, and we do have a special needs classroom available during our 9am service.
-
Our Kids ministry area is a peanut free area. Please do not bring any peanut products into this area. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know at check in. This information is printed on their name tag to ensure your child’s safety at snack time.
