What keeps you from being free? Anger...Alcohol...Fear...Food...Drugs... The purpose of this fellowship is to gather together and seek God's word and His will in the areas of addiction and afflictions that keep us in bondage. We know that God is all-powerful and wants us to be victorious in the trials and temptations that we face in our lives. We do not choose to accept the view of psychology or other support groups that we have a disease that will afflict us forever. We believe instead that Jesus can and does heal the sickness and addictions that result from our sinful and abusive behaviors.
Confess - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
Healing - "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord" Jeremiah 30:17
Anger - "Be angry, and do not sin; let not the sun go down upon your wrath; Neither give place to the devil" Ephesians 4:26,27
Immorality - "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins committed are outside of the body, sexual sin is against your own body" 1 Corinthians 6:18
Non-belief - "I sought the Lord, He heard me, and delivered me from my fears" Psalm 34:4
Self - "I am the vine, you are the branches... for without Me, you can do nothing" John 15:5
Because of the private and sensitive nature of this fellowship, it must be understood that anything heard in this group is to remain confidential. This is a safe place, and in order for it to remain one, all must agree and understand that permission is not granted to share any information heard here with any person, group, or prayer list.
