Feeding Lost Sheep

"Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." _{Mat. 9:35-36}

This ministry reaches out to unfortunate individuals and families in our community that are living as huddled masses in local motels.  This ministry provides care, meals, clothing and bedding for those in need.  We assist in the employment for qualified individuals where possible in the local neighborhoods.  When available, we provide old bicycles as means of transportation to employment opportunities.  This ministry meets every Tuesday at 3:30pm at the CC WestGrove kitchen.

We are in desperate need of the following:

• Cooks to help prepare weekly meals

• Helpers to serve food and to attend to the people in need

• Drivers to transport food to the various locations

• Disciples to ministry to the people receiving the meals

• Clothes for the families living in the run down motels

• Old bicycles to provide transportation to jobs sites

• New employment opportunities and odd jobs that can be performed
